Global Meditation Tomorrow – Sunday: Building Critical Mass for the EVENT

Alia compiles essential background information on the weekly COBRA meditations in this post:

(Alia’s original post here.)

Alia’s Comments: Why are the Weekly Event Meditations important? Why do we need to have a critical mass (144,000 people) meditating in unison, focused on a particular subject (The EVENT)? Why can’t I do this meditation any old time, at my convenience? Why is it important that I focus on this particular matter and not just simply meditate on peace for all beings, for example?

These are questions I have asked myself and you may be asking them also. I have recently renewed my commitment to these Sunday meditations, because I have come to understand that a critical mass (144,000 humans) of the surface population MUST request assistance in A UNIFIED VOICE, in order for the Resistance Movement (made up of Inner Earth and Off-World forces) to have our consent to take any action on the surface of our planet on behalf of Humanity. COBRA has reported previously that the Resistance Movement is  actually “under contract” NOT to operate on the surface UNTIL the time of the EVENT.

I know there are 144,000 Lightworkers and Lightwarriors out there — many times that number in fact — so achieving this should be a no-brainer. HOWEVER — we are a rebellious bunch — independent as they come — and so far, we have not pulled together to get this job done.

It’s time to UNITE and MAKE THIS A SOLID DATE ON OUR CALENDARS and SHOW UP every Sunday at 7 PM GMT until we trigger the EVENT!!! That is 2 PM EST, 1 PM CST and 11 AM PST in the USA. Continue reading

I Could Get Used to This…

Gaia

I had one of those exceptional dreams a while ago – the kind that when you “wake up” you realize that the dream was a real as where you are now.
 ::
And hearing the view recently that the dream quality of experience is how emotions manifest into a dimension of their own (some call it the 4th dimension) – I let my senses linger with this particular dream vision/experience a few times during the day so as to let the quality solidify itself more deeply into the cells of my psycho-somatic organism.

We interface into this world out of nothing

Like a hand into the glove

We fit inside it like we were made for it

Made of it and we are but

We come from somewhere else

Lama Surya Das: Natural Radiance

Manjusri-kaal

One instant of total awareness is one instant of
perfect freedom and enlightenment.

—The Wisdom Deity, Manjushri

Lama Surya Das:

“Some people think meditating is closing your eyes and trying not to think, or that meditation is simply a process to calm and clear the mind. That is known as concentrative meditation, or tranquility meditation—a process of creating a special focused state of mind like light or bliss, hearing a celestial sound, or saying a certain mantra. Buddhist meditation practices also include loving-kindness meditations, meditations on compassion, healing meditations, visualization meditations, and many other kinds of meditative disciplines, which you can learn elsewhere. vajra – the diamond state

RedGoldVajra

The Sanskrit word “vajra” entered into my consciousness a few days ago accompanied by a vision of a male figure sitting cross-legged inside a diamond-shaped geometric structure standing on end in space. The energy quality of the vision and of the structure with the man inside correspond with the character of the Vajra described below.

“Vajra is a Sanskrit word meaning both thunderbolt and diamond. Additionally, it is a weapon which is used as a ritual object to symbolize both the properties of a diamond (indestructibility) and a thunderbolt (irresistible force).”

This next short excerpt from a Buddhist text gives me the outline for my Vajra practice.

“The first yoga is called one-pointedness. One realizes that to remain calm, relaxed and aware of mind’s true, void nature is the one medicine which cures all mental ills. While cultivating experiences of bliss, non-thought and crystal clarity, one continuously lengthens the time that can be spent in deep meditation. The effects of the latter become more and more widespread, changing the quality of waking life and dreams.”

(Excerpt from “Mahadzog – The Great Perfection and the Great Seal” Part 2 – establishing enlightenment www.khenpo.eu/mahadzog.pdf )

The task is then to cultivate experiences of bliss, non-thought and crystal clarity and thus continuously lengthening the time that one can spend in deep meditation.

I see now that there is nothing else to do beyond cultivating experiences of bliss, non-thought and crystal clarity. I recognize that the state of Vajra, the energy state of diamond – thunderbolt, is a key for me. It attunes me to bliss. I see that bliss is the state of taking my stance from a position free of all residue of the past, of the conditioned mind flow. These experiences of bliss are born of the non-thought experience which in turn allows crystal clarity to arise. These three qualities of experiences are like three facets of a gemstone: all three belong together. I see how they are equated to sat-chit-ananda. Sat (absolute beingness) is the state of non-thought, chit (absolute consciousness) is the crystal clarity, and finally, ananda is absolute bliss. These three are existential imperatives that I am called to attune myself to in my waking hours like a radio set tuning into a certain frequency.

In these first days of the New Year 2014 I reflect often on what it means to live in a new way, unburdened by my past actions. I feel the freshness of living each moment complete as it is and not carrying anything over into the next moment. There is a subtle joy at being open to what the next moment unveils and, let me put it this way, expecting the unexpected. The usual way of going through life has been to assume that everything will appear in my field of perception more or less as it has in the past. This year many unexpected things are happening. These surprises are very much to my liking and life is taking on the quality of being created in the moment. Continue reading

Zen: Patience and Study

This is the page I contemplated this morning in my Driftwood Studio. It has to do with enlightenment being something that happens suddenly, from one moment to the next and yet many of us study with great patience. Master Linji gives us the sense that this study and this patience are part of enlightenment, not really “preparation FOR” enlightenment. The words of the sutras or of any text that inspires us are enjoyable and that is why we read and contemplate them. Enjoy this short text of Thich Nhat Hanh speaking of the teachings of Linji:
