Innumerable seeds are stored in our deeper consciousness.
When touched by ourselves or by our environment they put forth shoots.
These can be anger, disappointment, despondency, irritation, joy, or elation.
The ancients tell us that there are seeds that can be watered by us to find relief.
Mindfulness is one seed that we can water and it will flower in our lives.
This flower soothes others that have germinated and are causing pain.
Here we have watered the blue flower of gentle softness.
This flower’s perfume spreads out into the entire space and soothes pain.
Each of us can call upon and water the seeds that can give us relief.
We are the gardeners and our garden is the result of our mindfulness.
